Sally Shishmanov became Director of the enterprise in 1981 and occupied that position for three decades. He managed the company during the transformation of Bulgaria into a free-market economy. In the period 1997-2000, Sally Shishmanov successed in becoming the first private owner of the enterprise by acquiring the shares and transforming it into Mlin-97 JSC - a joint-stock company with 100% private capital.
The company was managed by a three-member Board of Directors and was represented by the Executive Director and Member of the Board – Sally Shishmanov until 2005
Sally Shishmanov served as Chairman of the Board of Directors until his passing in 2013.
Shishmanov is an Honorary citizen of the city of Razgrad.
Mlin-97 is a joint-stock company (JSC) with 100% private capital and is managed by a Board of Directors, represented by an Executive Director.
